Hi! My name is Chaundra Davis and birth and babies are my PASSION! It is from that passion that This Is How We Doula was conceived. A little about me, I am a wife and mother of 6 children and two cats. I am a Marvel Universe fanatic and LOVE The Walking Dead. I started my journey working with families after obtaining my BS in Human Ecology-Family Relations and Human Development with a focus on Infant Development. I spent 10 years in the field as an Infant Program Coordinator before taking time to care for my ever-growing family. I never lost my passion for working with parents and their children and when the time was right, that passion birthed the work I do today. As a DONA certified birth doula, I am equipped and ready to serve families during a time where the right support is essential. As a postpartum doula, I use my experience, both professional and personal, to support families in whatever way I am needed, ultimately leaving them confident to travel the road that is parenthood. I am ready to serve and support your needs. And as a Certified Lactation Counselor, I am also equipped to support with lactation and feeding choices. Ultimately, I am here to SUPPORT.
